President John Dramani Mahama expressed satisfaction with Kofi Job Construction Limited’s work on the Tepa-Maban-Goaso road project. After inspecting the ongoing construction, he praised Kofi Job as one of Ghana’s top road contractors.
He noted that 90 percent of contractors under the Big Push Agenda are local firms. Mahama stated that Kofi Job Construction has justified his choice to support local companies. “If you count ten of the best contractors in Ghana, Kofi Job is among them,” he said.
The inspection took place on Friday, October 9, 2026. Meanwhile, Mr. Kofi Gyebi Job, CEO of Kofi Job Construction Limited, thanked President Mahama for his dedication to road development under the Big Push Agenda. He highlighted how the initiative has empowered local contractors.
“Under the Big Push, the President has ensured local contractors are paid,” Mr. Job remarked. He committed to completing government assignments promptly and delivering quality projects.
About the Project
The Tepa-Maban-Goaso road project stretches from Maban community to River Goa bridge, covering 39 kilometres. It began in May 2024 and was incorporated into the Big Push Agenda in December 2025. Actual construction started on January 7, 2026.
The project is divided into phases; currently, the first phase covers 22 kilometres from Maban and is 93 percent complete.
