D-Black Responds to Netizen's Bold Christmas Chopping Claims

Ghanaian musician and businessman D-Black has addressed allegations from a social media user. The user claimed he abandoned former signees Freda Rhymz and Sefa after having sexual encounters with them. This post appeared on X on October 8, 2026.

The netizen wrote, “D-Black left Freda Rhymz and Sefa to rot underground after sleeping with both of them.” They added that being a female artist in Ghana is challenging.

In response, D-Black questioned the user’s intentions for Christmas in December. He asked, “U sure say u want chop Christmas freely this 2026?” His comment seemed to serve as a warning.

Another user suggested D-Black might physically confront the accuser. However, he dismissed this idea. He stated he wanted to discuss the claims instead. “Never. Just a Tete a Tete,” he said, expressing interest in an interview about the allegations.

D-Black denied any sexual encounters with his female artists while they were signed to Black Avenue Muzik. He insisted he would never engage in such behavior.

Freda Rhymz joined Black Avenue Muzik in 2018 after winning MTN Hitmaker’s sixth season. Her contract ended around 2019 after one year with the label.

Sefa also joined Black Avenue Muzik in 2018 and worked there for several years before parting ways. In October 2024, she confirmed her departure during an interview and later issued a farewell statement on December 3, following contract completion and business misunderstandings.
